These are developments that have been produced from the information gathered from slow shutter speed images. I focused on making interesting shapes from the light captured.

Snakes on a plane...piece of paper
Playful type
This is how I got the idea to make a 3-D representation of this sketch that I made as I was working on my Swiss army jacket i made this poster an army orientated one.
Snap
I saw this jacket on the bus and it reminded me of the work i have been doing with slow shutter speed light images.
Pleat
It was time that I put my pleating into practice so I thought that I should make a small pleat sample. The process was quite quick as I made a simple pleat.

The first step was to evenly divide two pieces of paper into 3cm lines

The next step was to score the paper and put the fabric in between both sheets.

The last step was to compress the paper and fabric and to steam it to imprint the pleats

And heres the outcome of the process
Fold, Score...too much scoring
So I was at home and thought that it was long over due to make some paper folds so I sat down got my paper and ruler and my copy of Supersurfaces: Folding as a Form Generaion Method in Architecture by Sofia Vyzoviti (a worth while book to have on the shelf) and got cracking
It only occurred to me when I had finished that the paper I used wasn't thick enough so the folds didn't stay as rigid as they should have been.

Figure heads...Philippe Petit
This man is the definition of going after your goals If you don't know who this man is this is Philippe Petit aka the man who wire walked from the top of one world trade centre to another. He had never been to NYC prior to his walk and before the twin towers were made he had already said I am going to wire walk across them. I urge everyone to watch the epic Documentary of his Battle and preparation to go after his goal. (The film is entitled Man On a wire)
